Nemegtomaia barsboldi

The 'other' Oviraptor. Nemegtomaia is a genus of Oviraptorid dinosaur from late Cretaceous Mongolia. Nemegtomaia means 'good mother from Nemegt'. So not an egg seizer but in fact a caring mother (..or father!), hence I call her 'the other Oviraptor'. 

While working on this piece I realized just how much these dinosaurs looked and must have behaved like birds (in fact it's the other way around of course).
